特斯拉万圣节模式将随后续 FSD 更新到来:FSD 车主不必退订等节日功能
Halloween Mode Is Coming to Tesla FSD Vehicles Soon
Tesla owners using Full Self-Driving (Supervised) won’t have to give it up just to get Halloween Mode in time for October 31. When one owner posted on X that they were canceling their FSD subscription to get the spooky update sooner, Kalena Brown, a member of Tesla’s AI team who works on the FSD branch, responded directly, confirming there’s “no need” to do that since it’s coming soon.
That means an upcoming FSD update will bundle in Halloween Mode, so owners on the FSD track won’t be stuck choosing between the two.
Why FSD Owners Get New Features Later
Tesla builds new features on its main development branch, while FSD updates come from a separate code branch. Once a car has subscribed to FSD for a few months, Tesla usually moves it to the FSD release track. That gets owners the newest FSD builds first, but they have to wait for feature releases until they’re merged into the FSD branch, which can take weeks or even a full month.
Halloween Mode started rolling out on the main branch with software update 2026.38.3. Meanwhile, Tesla just started rolling out FSD v14.3.11 in update 2026.33.5, which doesn’t include the festive feature.
For a sense of timing, Tesla began rolling out this year’s Summer Update at the end of July. It took almost a month before the update was merged into the FSD branch and started reaching cars on the latest FSD builds.
Brown didn’t share a release date, but we expect Halloween Mode to reach the FSD branch within the next couple of weeks. That would give owners time to play around with it before Halloween.
What’s Included in Halloween Mode
It’s easy to see why FSD owners don’t want to miss out. Halloween Mode lives in the Toybox year-round and turns your car’s avatar into a glowing sheet ghost, gives the fullscreen parked visualization a macabre makeover with a graveyard, haunted house, zombie hand sticking out of the mud, and jack-o'-lanterns. While driving, other cars glow green, pedestrians become skeletons, and the FSD path turns purple.

Trick or Treat plays spooky sounds and flickers your lights when visitors approach your parked car, though it disables Sentry Mode while it’s on. You also get themed custom wraps, a Halloween lock sound, owl-hooting turn signals, a new Fright Show light show, Photobooth effects, a scary new Boombox voice, and more. Check out our full guide to everything in Halloween Mode for more details, along with photos and videos of each feature.
For now, FSD owners will have to sit tight, but Brown’s comments suggest the next FSD update could bring a whole haunted house along with it.
